The person behind the practice.
Marisa Gonzalez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and AAMFT Approved Supervisor-in-Training practicing across Pennsylvania, Texas, and Colorado. She founded Maeve Collective because she believed the therapy world needed a different kind of group practice: one where clinicians are genuinely supported, and where that support flows directly to the quality of care clients receive.
Her Story
Marisa built this practice from the ground up, starting as a solo telehealth therapist while navigating multi-state licensure, the early years of associate life, and all the unglamorous parts of building something from nothing. She trained at Abilene Christian University in a COAMFTE-accredited MFT program, and her clinical identity has always been relational, systemic, and affirming.
She specializes in ADHD, trauma, and couples work, and she brings the same curiosity and care to her supervision that she brings to her clinical work.
Her Approach
01
Relational
Everything happens in relationship: to others, to ourselves, to the systems we live inside. That framework shapes how Marisa works with every client and every clinician she supervises.
02
Systemic
Individual struggles do not happen in a vacuum. Marisa holds context, culture, and history as part of every clinical picture.
03
Affirming
This practice is a safe and celebratory space for people of all identities, relationship structures, and backgrounds.
